Twilight, the teenage phenomenon

And it is indeed a phenomenon, can't say I understand why though. I personally never even read the book, I only had to go as to accompany my sis...

Let's start with the plot: -chirp chirp go the birds- To me, there was barely a plot there, just a vampire-human love story, "A teenage girl risks everything when she falls in love with a vampire". The cliches of cliches, its really a wonder to me how the books sold so well, especially when they are like the size of dictionaries.

My thoughts: Too much love and too little action, the fight between the bad vampires and the good vampires were really short, at most 20 minutes and that was including all the promises of 'I'll protect you' and stuff. :P Main character, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson, also as Cedric from Harry Potter) looked like a plastic surgery gone bad =__=

Other than that, most of the characters were quite pretty~ Main character, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) was a pretty girl, she acted quite well despite all those happy love moments XDD Another pretty girl I spotted was Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre,) her fur coat was love and her evilness was love as well! V

And the fact that all the vampires can be easily identified by their inch thick white powdered mask was really a no brainer, its sort of hard NOT to notice that they are a bit "strange" to say the least. But despite all I still really liked the vampire family, their interaction as a whole group was really cute!~ :3

Duct Tape Over My Mouth

My fingers are burning with pain because I just helped my sister to sew on one of her badge for air cadets =___= Who decided to put plastic coverings underneath those badges??!! Do they not realize how difficult it is to poke through?? QuQ

That aside, ITS PA DAY AGAIN! *3* I can say I love PA days almost as much as I love RK, and really, that is saying a lot XDDD

Now a little report from school:

Physics: It's a pain in the butt. (為什麼老師說的我一點也不懂??!! D:) Things that used to make sense no longer do, it reminds me of my RK story called Speed, people kept asking me whether this idea sparked off of physics and really now that I learn about speed, displacement and all those nameless but frighteningly confusing things, the answer is such a definite no XDDD

But that I finished ranting, I must head back to working on my projects DX -gets dragged away-

Jamming In My World

Wahh~ -does a spinning twirl- The fresh taste of weekend is so great! -relish in the delight- And so in celebration I changed my interface again :P This time is purple all the way! (one of my favorite colors actually XDD)

There really isn't anything eventful that happened during the week, sorta busy with school work and trying to do better in my subjects XD I am kind of managing. But weekend has came by to swoop me up, although I have like 2 projects demanding to be finished in time :P (I swear I'll get on with them~~)

Gosh I went to the dentist a few days ago and hell was it bad! The doctor was rather talkative OTL The procedures were rather painful -sheds a tear- XD But it hurts plenty and that night, every time I tried to clench my teeth I would yelp in pain >:P I could barely even eat... but that was partly because I haven't been to the dentist for almost like two years XDD But still! Stupid stupid dentist!!

Other than that my life is too boring to even mention XDD So I shall just let some pictures do the talking, because I know when I start to babble I can't stop myself. :X

Oh dreaded homework, now you get to see the result of my studies...


1 damn lb. of what? If you can't tell what it is, I shall tell you, its stuffing!! *o* Like doll stuffing, cuz I plan to do plenty of stitching and sewing during the Christmas holiday~ -dances-

Love Reeks

It took a while for me to finally spill, took a bit more than I thought I would need to write all this down. But I think its time for confrontation.

I am quite aware of the problems my parents are having and hell I am pretty clear on even my sister's discomfort. It wasn't once that I've heard the phone calls from my mom to my dad or vice-versa.

Even when my dad was still in Canada, I accidentally overheard their conversation in the living room. It was quite painful to have to listen but I couldn't close the door on them. And I guess the first time I heard it, it made my eyes sting. It hurts a lot to hear my parents talking to each other about their relationship, my mom even asked about whether my dad had another woman in China and how ending their marriage would be the best.

And god that made me so sick because I thought this could only happen in other people's life.

Their problem consists of so much, it was never just love alone. They are the best parents that I ever want, I know they love me and my sisters but seeing them like this just makes me feel useless. I am not like my older sister, I can't confront them about their issues because I am not that brave but I don't want to become a burden. I don't want to open my hands and ask for the things I want. I don't want to open my mouth and have someone feed me. I can't stand it when I feel so goddamn useless and right now I feel like I can't do a thing for them, even when they are so down and stressed.

I should know so much better. Perhaps I am selfish, I try to dismiss the things that are happening, I try to forget. I feel like a coward and really I probably am for trying to ignore it all. But I need to know better.

Fallen Into the Icon Frenzy

Long weekend!! Yes another one, as strange as it is. I don't know how many long weekends we've had already :3 Not too much homework this weekend, just a science report and some tech programming :P Otherwise I am free to do as I please~~ But oh crap, I just remembered, I have mandarin test tomorrow... >n< And I recently got dragged into icon making (look to the side bar,) I made those two.... But they don't look pro at all! I saw really awesome ones on LJ -so jealousy!- I am going to make more, that's for sure XDD And really, you can't blame me for getting dragged it to this little frenzy, it is rather addicting >___<

Just read DGM Chap 178. -droops- That was TOTAL MARIE-TORTURE!!! D': -fumes- First his hearing device thing gets destroyed, then he has to cut off his fingers!! Q__Q Hoshino you evil evil b*tch!!! And the fact that she gave us "lovely" sketches just made her laziness all the more obvious...

And machine guns?? God... what can't the level 4 do these days?

Let Down

Its not hard to guess these days: yes, I got my math test back XP But that's that, I refuse to talk about it anymore, it would just dampen my mood... =__=

Let's move on, shall we?~ I went to the library yesterday and found some rather unexpected things XD First it was movies~ I borrowed Beowulf (kinda western viking style meets the Final Fantasy creators XDDD), National Treasure 2 (he is so bald.... -looks away- but unexpectedly good, looking forward to the next one~)

Last was a Korean movie with European actors, called Dragon Wars (or D-Wars for short XDDD) It was really cool, as I am a sucker for overly big creatures battling each other (like Godzilla >////<) And really the special effects were rather good and the out come was quite fantastic, definitely a recommendation :D -with thumbs up-

Now at the library, you would expect some lovely heavy dusty books packed with info that no one reads (except for Rabi and Bookman, cuz these two nerds are WAY too cool XD) And then, tucked right there in the Chinese section was a manga, I took it out.... OMFG!!! WHY IS THERE YAOI??!! Yup, it was a yaoi manga, flipped through it and yup, there were definitely lemon scenes... OTL, who in the world offered to put this book in our library???

Oh well~ Let's hope there would be more -evil glint- XDDD
