And the bear says Trick or Treat!

It has been at least a few years since I have left the house on October 31st to knock on people's doors and say trick or treat! But this year, my childhood desire (or my lack of fresh air) has finally caught up with me and I am going for some cheap sweets XD

I only hope I am not too old for this DD: I hope no one will reject me for asking for candies along with kids half my size XDD

This year, I am going as a bear, also known as a cheap excuse to not look ridiculous while wrapping myself in layers. Rawr.

Happy Halloween to all!~ v

Being a mail man is not as easy as it seems

Tegami Bachi (Letter Bee), it's a manga about mailmen battling armored insects while trying to deliver mail. Sounds exciting? To me, reading that sentence over just seems quite ridiculous XDD

But as far as I have gotten (which is like chapter 12 XD) I think it is quite alright. The drawing style is nice, it has a fairytale look to it (all purple and magical type of thing with a lot of sparkly stars to distract you in almost every single panel.) The kids are too bug-eyed and 'cute' for my taste but the older characters are cool beyond I can describe.

As a hater for the main character, this one is no different. But it isn't hard to guess why I would get pissed off by him, take a look:

Remind you of someone? (Ans: Allen Walker) But looks aside, he is too much of a shota for me, his big bubbly eyes and his crybaby personality is just a nuisance.

However, there is also a character that makes me swoon (in my chair ;DD) With much absence from DGM, I think he has taken a part time job as a doctor in Tegami Bachi:

OMFG IT'S RABI!!!
-shot for misguiding viewers- No it's actually
Dr. Thunderland Junior (← OMG! It's an omen!!) :OOOO

Now I am just waiting for a long haired man to make this the perfect series XDDDD

First Nano

This year I have joined NaNoWriMo! (click for more details ;D) The National November Writing Month, where you are asked to write a novel (word count: 50K) from Nov.1-30!

I am super nervous but totally excited for it. But since its a novel, I will try for an original (rather than my usual fanfics)! I have a feeling I won't be able to complete it D: still I think this would be worth the try cuz it just seems so much fun (besides the major brain cramp I feel I will most definitely get) ;DD

Mysteries should stay mysterious

It has been quite a while since I had time to make a lil' something something.

And once I did, I just had to make something weird no matter what. XD And my Elizabeth-love had grown quite a bit these days (after reading 200-so chapters of Gintama← hilarious manga, five stars [ ★★★★★] recommendation if you want something entertaining and wholeheartedly stupid ;D)

So behold, Elizabeth in all his/her its glory!

As for the reference...? (look down!)

Official Move

As I mentioned before, I plan to create a fanfic blog personally just for my work. And now, it is official! (drum roll please? XDD)

I have finally set one up after much exploration in fc2 (the blog I am having this on)~

All the fanfics that I posted (will be posting ;D) are all revised versions of my selected fics from my ff.n, most of them are grammatical changes but some of them will have some plot changes. (if I ever get aorund that far DD:)

So come and check out: Mr. Eggplant's Personal Collection ~ (that is the name right now, due for change for sure cuz its me afterall XD)

Last, I want to direct you to the right. See that little banner? It will also link you directly to my fic blog as well. ;)

09-09-09

Yesterday, I just went to watch a movie I have been anticipating since its release date (which is exactly a month before I could actually watch it XDD) It is an action-packed animated film featuring amazing backgrounds, awesome sound effects, and produced by Tim Burton.

About: When the world is coming to an end with a war of machine vs. people, a scientist splits his soul into pieces and bring 9 rag dolls to life in order to continue life on earth.

Even though the plot was a little straightforward, I still thought the film was quite something. And I appreciate the designs of the machine the most, it was very original! My favorite rag dolls have to be the twins (3 & 4), they are so adorable!~ v ---> 3 & 4

Listen Up!

There are much to tell. But it is me after all, so that makes all the difference. ;P

I have been sick on and off for the past two weeks and right now my nose is still stuffed and runny. -sniff-

[School] it hasn't been all that bad. Biology is making no sense but I am surprisingly doing well in it! :DD (wait till the unit test on Fri...)
But, my extracurricular course (Mandarin and Japanese) is getting heavier with the work load!! DD: I have to memorize over 100 Jap adjectives by next Tues -cries in corner- I feel like my brain is going to blow up altogether... D:

[World Wide Web Wise] I am planning to launch a new blog where I will use it solely to post fanfics and translated works and maybe even original (if I ever get that far D:) I will be using it as a storage space for the final and good copies of my works. (as surprisingly as it sounds, I really am planning to gather my courage and revise everything!!) But I am still dwelling on whether I should abandon ff.n entirely -thinks hard-

[Nuit Blanche] Still have to do a little travel post for the event I went to over the weekend! :DD
