Title: Nurarihyon no Mago (ぬらりひょんの孫/滑頭鬼之孫)

Summary:
A yakuza turf war with a youkai twist. No seriously, that's basically it. Featuring 1/4 youkai and 3/4 human kid called Rikuo who can only transform into his 'demon' form at night, this story follows him and his gang of youkai (more like worshipers) as they try to reclaim their past glory and save the world along the way, how convenient really.

Commentary:
The plot is straightforwardly typical, like all other JUMP! hits. They also released an anime for this but I am not as interested (got to support the original for all their worth~ v) But however you see it, it's gay. This is hard-core man-on-man love with the whole procedures (marriage and courting processes included.) I don't know how explicit this manga can get on shounen jump but it can be called soft-core BL (just with a lot of fighting, but still a lot of gay-healing.) I promise. ;)

However, the fanbase is so small, it breaks my heart. Even with all the possibilities (oh, the possibilities~) both English and Chinese (and even the Jap) fandom is maddeningly small!! It sucks to fall head over heels for something that is not popular every single times... D: So I am highly promoting this one!! (PS: personal favorite shot of youkai!Rikuo below~)

Title: Kuroko no Basket (黒子のバスケ/黑子的籃球)

Summary:
Small and weak Kuroko is an easy to miss existence but he was a part of the legendary middle school basketball team, Generation of Miracles. Going into high school, he comes to challenge his past teammates in hopes of changing them for the better.

Commentary:
As of now, I am still catching up with it but so far, it is not so bad, especially if you consider the fact that I hate sports. XD It is a straightforward basketball shounen Jump manga a whole lot more closer to reality than Prince of Tennis. Overall it is an entertaining read since the plot does keep you eager for the next chapter (so far!) and 99% of the characters are males~ So what can I complain about? ;DD

Floral Print

I have always been a long time floral-print-fanatic (yes, like those granny patterns that everyone else hates... this is such an embarrassing aspect of my personal taste XDD) And of all the things that I have made, I have never ever made a teddy bear.

And this as my first attempt was a lot better than I expect, the magic of camera shots made him look a lot more beautiful than he really is. I mean, in reality, it resembles a dog in one angle and a camel in another... -looks away-

I hope the next one will look better but what I make never turn out into the (totally awesome) visions that I had at the beginning DD:

Stacked Up High

Being a librarian is always such a mysterious profession.

Yesterday, I dropped by my local public library for a much needed visit (I haven't been there for months DD:) They had stocked up on a lot of new books~ v Needless to say, my sister and I went crazy. Pulling books after books from the shelf, we ended up with this:

Scariest thing ever: there were light novels everywhere!!! I felt like I was looking at an otaku's exclusive bookshelf!!!! DDDX There were even BL light novels... =u=bb And one of them even had a sticker on it saying: 18+ OOOTL

(What has happened to public libraries of all things...!!!!!)

I Suck (and not in the good way either)

Sometimes I don’t know whether I should hate myself more or word documents more.

Maybe a month or so back, I deleted my DRRR!! document that had ALL of my dura related ideas and partly written fics and today, just as I was completely finished with a chapter of my DRRR!! fic, I somehow managed to click the wrong thing and reverted it back to the old saved copy, thus losing all the changes I made.

Currently feeling sad at stupid ol'me...

Why do I always end up doing these things to myself?!?! -sobs-

PS: One more day until my internet is not on verge of bursting through the limit.

Shiny Ball Syndrome

I have been meaning to write some multi-chaptered fanfics but internet is an evil distraction.

You know how it feels when you go on to check something and ten seconds into typing in your keywords into google, you are checking your email, blogging (like now!!), looking at new updates, reading other fanfictions, and generally doing everything aside from what you set out to do at the start.

But the vision of these fics (the finished version of course) dazzles me to no end.

Perseverance is a nice trait, too bad my genes only contain maybe 5% of it.
