Twilight, the teenage phenomenon
And it is indeed a phenomenon, can't say I understand why though. I personally never even read the book, I only had to go as to accompany my sis...
Let's start with the plot: -chirp chirp go the birds- To me, there was barely a plot there, just a vampire-human love story, "A teenage girl risks everything when she falls in love with a vampire". The cliches of cliches, its really a wonder to me how the books sold so well, especially when they are like the size of dictionaries.
My thoughts: Too much love and too little action, the fight between the bad vampires and the good vampires were really short, at most 20 minutes and that was including all the promises of 'I'll protect you' and stuff. :P Main character, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson, also as Cedric from Harry Potter) looked like a plastic surgery gone bad =__=
Other than that, most of the characters were quite pretty~ Main character, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) was a pretty girl, she acted quite well despite all those happy love moments XDD Another pretty girl I spotted was Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre,) her fur coat was love and her evilness was love as well! V
And the fact that all the vampires can be easily identified by their inch thick white powdered mask was really a no brainer, its sort of hard NOT to notice that they are a bit "strange" to say the least. But despite all I still really liked the vampire family, their interaction as a whole group was really cute!~ :3

Lol, so what's your rating for the movie? The best vampire movie I've ever watched was Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire. 8D Young Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise~! What a fiest for my eyes XD The novel for Vampire Chronicle's not bad, sometimes I find the plot really silly, but... meh~
That is the BEST vampire movie in history~ V Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt makes the best (gay!!!! ) vampires EVER! My rating for this movie is 2 out of 5, not too bad but if you are bored, watching it should be alright XD
\o/ Fellow Vampire Chronicles fan! Yay! You're right, Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt makes the most mouth watering gay pair D8. To think in the novel, they actually share the same coffin when Brad first turn into a vampire... *drools* and Lestat hinted that Louis and him were lovers...~ Gotta rewatch that movie again!~
I don't get the craze of twilight O.O Hetero vampire plot lines are a little... weird.
I never got to read the novel! -pout pout- I really ought to look for it XD Especially after you mention that they shared the same coffin!! >___<
Hetero vampire plot lines really don't have much of a plot, and yes its strange to the max XD And to think that it is such a huge thing here :P (I rather stick to the BL)
8D I have them ebook 'cause my country banned the entry of the books =.=. If you want I can upload them for you 8D.
Awww that ain't nice, why ban such a yummy gay book? D: If it isn't too much trouble for you, that would be lovely~~ >////< V
No problem at all, in fact I have it uploaded in my mail when I sent the books to my sis, I'll just forward it to you 8D
I live in a country which is run by a muslim government which see homosexualism as a sin and at the same time, (in some states) they banned yoga and has 2 seperate lines at the cashier for males and females, movie seating's devided to first few rows for females and last few rows for males... 8D Did I mention tomboyism is banned for muslims too?
Thank you, now I can slowly munch on them... till like the new year XDD
Oh wow, that's a lot of rules.. >___< But yeah, religious belief is quite strong if the government is run by the religion :S And yesh! I heard about that tomboy business.
PS: Is yoga really that bad? D:
More like yoga has Hindu influences that's why it's being banned D8
