fan expo'd!
So while I did promise I will get my travel logs out, I also said I would get my fanexpo review like two posts down. But let's get FX'd!
Even though I've been to conventions before, this is my very first one in North America (even though I have lived here for 10 years and counting, which is even more than I've lived in my birthplace!)
Still, I was mainly lured by a friend, V, who convinced me we need to geek out together.
But because me and my sister's hands have this tendency to spasm when we take photos, half of them are blurry beyond recognition /fails.
Comic books, tv shows, cosplayers, and all the figures you would want but can't ever have!
I just think seeing THIS much comics on display at one time is bad for my health, and even worst for my wallet. And then there are those really kickass artists in the artist alley, where I actually bumped into two highschool classmates (art class classmates lol) and of course, I attempt to make friendly talk (because that's what I've been told normal people do), which ended up awkward with a dash of quick escape. And then several aisles later, there was that one erik/charles artist, Spiftynifty that I've seen on tumblr. Of course, I geeked out a bit.
Above are the artists of Romantically Apocalytic, a web series my sister has been bugging me about since forever, they are all really sweet people (listened to her fangirling and gushing without being creeped out!)
And yes, yes, of course: Figures!
Tim Burton's Frankenweenie was amazzzzing to see, all that details! *u* I am super excited for when the film finally comes out! :D And have some zombie, screw-in-eye! The Walking Dead is a horrible show where everyone still alive are basically douche bags that should have died first.
And of course comes the gorgeous original art that gets splattered all over the displays. I wish my walls could get the same treatment. Their muscles are just really prominent. LOVE.
So it was quite the blast, a little tiring on the feet. But genuinely a great experience even when the wait for the ticket was a little more than a long long time... OTL Might I give you one last photo: creeper Loki in all his fine sinister grin.

XDD As fun as they are, they are also painfully expensive! DD: So yeah, you've got to save up... but it's fun to blow it all on toys like these XDD
