it's a bright morning here

It has been a long long while since I have made fandom friends.

(I mean, the only ones I still keep in contact with are the ones from my DGM days, hey Rincon! Hey Ju! I still can't believe you guys stuck with me for soooo long, it was the end of 2009 when I wrote my last DGM fic! /kisses) But other than that, I have been curled in on myself and not really trying to get too involved with fandom at large besides posting and reading fics like a sponge.

And since I have been living by myself far from home, I usually just fangirl with my sisters, both to keep in contact and to just flail because we all like gay boy bums a little too much. It's great but it's a different kind of good.

And tumblr is not a good avenue at all for making friends (I mean you just like and reblog, you don't even have to say a single thing to a single user on the site) but my gosh, even having someone take the smallest step of reaching out to talk to me (I mean, me of all people??! Are you sure you didn't click into the wrong askbox?) really puts a smile on my face.

Like a really big smile.

Thanksgiving is long over but did Christmas come early? :)


PS: Also realized my AO3 1 year anniversary is on Dec.21st? End of the world, really? I guess I will just have to celebrate with a fic then!! ;) Also, 72 works so far and I still got 2-3 more weeks of 2012 to go? I think I might hit some kind of a record ;DD

PPS: Just saw a The L Word post on my dash and my god does that show bring back memories! Is it wrong if I say, most of my teenage years I spent watching that show with my sister and hiding behind my hand when they get at each other, which is like every 15 minutes of an one hour show.
