fuck da POLICE

Just when I think things are looking up, the police calls me over on the street and gives me a $40 fine.

But nope, apparently it's bad luck Monday and I am at the wrong place at the exact wrong time.

Fined for jay-walking on the intersection I have been walking by for everyday this past half year. Do police not have speeding cars to slow down that they have to pull university students on student loans over to fine them for crossing the street when there is a red light on one end of the street and another on the other end of the street preventing ANY cars from passing through? Do you not have better things to do? Go eat a donut, go buy a cup of coffee or something, it's roll up the rim season here.

Don't charge random university students with a $40 fine when walking right behind them are 50 more doing the exact same thing.

Ugh. I never thought I would get fined for crossing the street, maybe for my downloading ways, but not for this. Honestly, I should have just kept walking away and see if he would run after me for it. But nope, my music was down too low.

Currently in debate: do I pay it or fight it? (I could eat like four dinners with that fine.)
