ugh.

I just watched h50's S3E18. Yes, the derby episode with tons of Catherine in cute booty shorts and enough McGarrett mommy drama to choke a bitch. And yes, there will be a rant because goddamnit Steve, you make me sooooo mad!

Note: I've only heard of the whole Catherine Rollins/Michelle Borth debacle from a distance away. So, I have no opinion on the actress as her character. Rather, I am purely going to focus my following h50 rant on Catherine with adorbs braids and how much Steve needs to shove off already.



I honestly don't understand why Catherine gets all the hate when Steve is a complete douche with her. No, she is not your favors girl. So, no, Steve, you don't get the right to blame her for keeping a secret from you. She made a promise to your mother. If anything, that shows how much class she has, okay. If it's anyone's fault, it's Doris, and Steve, not Catherine, not by a long run. So no, Steve, you don't get to ask her to go through all the thicks and thins with you, just to ask her to leave when your mommy-issues hit the fan.

If they had the Steve-and-Catherine confrontation with his mom's secret any other episode, I probably wouldn't be as pissed. But no, you put it in with the derby where Catherine goes undercover for your team, literally bruising herself to do your job for you, only to get a cold shoulder from you whenever you feel like it!

All the more, it makes me infinitely sad because Catherine is so obviously in love with Steve. (No girl goes to North Korea with you with nothing more than weapons salvaged from a guy drinking snake blood in a shack if she didn't LOVE you, Steve.) So, the minute Steve chews her out for keeping a secret from him, idek, I was ready to flip my shit.

Catherine is made of win, she is also too good for Steve.


And if I may, let me just gush over how cute Catherine looked all episode with her rollerblades, braids, and those booty shorts combo with those leggings. Because hot damn.
