like genes, we crossover

I have practically dropped off of my blog... another ooops! Especially considering this is my first post of the year.

Hmmm... besides the must needed: Happy New Year (which is rather late at this point) I guess I should throw in a quick update? XD

So it seems my classes are so far so good, cue my immediate fails after the first week. My physics prof wears the cutest T-shirts and my Genetics prof gives us book recs lol And of course, much like all uni students, the start of term also means textbooks and damn, if I had been broke before, I am in the reds with my numbers these days!!

That aside: I AM ADDICTED TO CROSSOVERS.

Not only have I fell into the hole that is White Suits (White Collar/Suits), I am super desperate for White Collar/Chuck fics too, despite the fact that Chuck isn't honestly all that good of a show. Still, as I suffer from WC withdrawal, what I do is watch the Chuck episode guest starring Tim Dekay (Peter from WC) as a rogue CIA agent called Ryker.

And oh, considering this is me, there is more (not that this is ever a good thing, like ever.)

So instead of working on normal fics like regular fans, I go and write Ryker/Larkin fic. (Note: Bryce Larkin is a recurring CIA superspy from seasons 1&2 of Chuck, played by Matt Bomer.) Now that you understand why this must be written, like hello Matt Bomer and Tim Dekay/Neal Caffrey and Peter Burke, I feel like I need to vent on why there hasn't been any fics for the two of them? I mean it is like meant to be guuuuuys, write me ficccccs alreadyyyy.

I guess I should also make a note that Larkin dies at the end of S2, and Ryker sort of gets a knife in the chest at the end of that episode. Not that it matters to me because I don't see your (il)logical fact that not only has the two of them never met in official canon, their story arcs never even overlapped, or that they are both technically very dead. (*whispers* they live in my heart, you seeeeee...)

And yeah, that has been an update. Don't be afraid.

PS: I am still deciding how I can tag that fic.
