is adulting really for anyone

18 days into my job search:

• i apply for a position on the 18th day
• receives a phone call barely two hours later
• interview on the 19th day
• 10minutes after i leave the interview, they offer me a position
• training starts on the 20th day

i am baffled but really fucking grateful for a return of a routine (also a paycheck), it is not where i had hoped but it is something that will build up skills i want in the long run. location is meh, pay is meh, and who knows how good (or not at all) i would be when i finally get out of training.

but a paycheck is a paycheck, experience is experience, and the commute can really be so much worse.

there are worse places to end up.

or, at least that's what i can only hope for.
